As a practicing Gastroenterologist in NY, Sunil has been deeply involved in community service and organizational leadership. He is the founder and medical director of a Non-Profit network of 200 physicians in the Bronx (Doctors for A Healthier Bronx) and www.NutritionVista.com, a provider of nutrition and wellness services in India. He is a Global Health Strategic Partner to the Organization for International Development (OID) conducting Medical Missions to Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

In addition to his publications, Sunil is a frequently invited speaker nationally and internationally. His October 2, 2011 speech at the Pan-IIT Global Alumni conference entitled “Solutions for a Better World” (http://www.youtube.com/user/paniit2011#pu) was published in the Dec 2011 U.S. and International editions of Vital Speeches of the Day.

Hemant Panchal was born in Bombay, graduated from TNMC, Bombay University, with MBBS, DA, and MD (Anesthesiology). In 1983 he went to United Kingdom and completed Anesthesia residency and earned FFARCS. In 1991, he migrated to Oklahoma, USA, and got Board certified in Anesthesia and pain management.  He worked as Asst. Prof in Anesthesiology at Oklahoma University Health Science Center for five years and then started private practice in Oklahoma City.


In 2002 he moved to Chicago, joined private practice at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Currently, he is working as the Director of Pain Management Clinic at the same hospital.

Maya Sanghavi was born in Mumbai, India. After receiving her Post-Graduate medical degree from TNMC, Bombay University. She came to USA in 1971. She is a board certified Ob/Gyn was on the faculty staff of RWJ-UMDNJ for 14 years and in private practice of Ob/Gyn for 25 years. She is a council member of NJ state maternal mortality review committee. She is also very active with county, state medical societies as well as local chapter of AAPI.

Migrated to US in 1963. Residency in Radiology at NYU Medical Center, New York, Chief resident 1966. Pediatric Radiology, Boston Children medical Center 1967. Diplomat of American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine. He practiced in Massachusetts at Beth Israel Medical Center, Boston 1968-69, Providence Hospital and Mercy Medical center in western Massachusetts till 2004. Currently, he is working as a part time radiologist at Good Samaritan Medical center in Phoenix, AZ.
